Purpose

Coordinate deployments, traffic, scaling, security, and provider integrations.

How to use it

Operator workflow

  1. 01

Define stages with timeouts, retries, and failure policy.

  2. 02

Trigger manually, by webhook secret, or by schedule.

  3. 03

Approve paused stages; watch per-stage logs.

  4. 04

Fetch artifacts (64 MiB cap) and retry or cancel from the run.

What Forge owns

Boundary and safety

Script stages execute inside node containers, never on the control plane.

Use deliberate changes

Review the affected node, workload, route, or secret before saving. Capture state and health evidence before changes that affect data or public traffic.

Before you finish

Verification checklist

  • Run snapshot frozen at trigger time.
  • Stage logs streaming.
  • Approval resolves await.
  • Artifacts downloadable.
